SEP- Kenya AT TAKK ORPHANAGE HOME- RAWINJI

At SEP- Kenya, we strive to create safe spaces for young women, children and adolescents in our community.

We visited TAKK ORPHANAGE HOME in Rawinji to educate women/girls ,Men and boys on #LIFE_SKILLS.

Using the power of Menstrual Health education we advocate for and help shatter Menstrual stigma and Menstrual poverty.
We touched on some Sexual reproductive health related issues like GBV and SGBV

We believe people make better decisions when they they are well informed. We also believe that this is the best way to tackle and create awareness on #Mentalhealth related issues and stigma. We engaged the kids on a mental health talk that will go a long way in helping then deal with mental health issues as they grow up.

We are humbled to have put a smile on the faces of the kids at the orphanage by donating foodstuff, clothes , shoes and sanitary pads for the young women and girls.

Congratulations SEP team for the very good work of supporting the teenage mothers and young girls through reusable sanitary towels.
